Workforce Development Program Narrative
The ARC Workforce Innovation Institute Certificate Programs are more than training—they are a launchpad for underserved youth and adults, who are ready to master the technologies redefining how the world works.
Supporting the integration of digital technologies into manufacturing and other industrial sectors, and industries such as Healthcare, Retail, and Transportation, this 6-to 12-month hybrid program addresses the “middle skills gap” and a lack of access to training and education, by integrating the free industry certifications from various tech & digital skills platforms such as IBM SkillsBuild, Google Career Certificates, Coursera for Nonprofits, Meta Blueprint, and Microsoft Learn, with foundational training in Leadership, Customer Success, Entrepreneurship Essentials, and Principals of Financial literacy, offered directly from ARCWII.
With an emphasis on Mentorship, and access to needed wraparound services to address key barriers to employment, our approach aligns with labor market needs and supports economic mobility in Henry County, Clayton County, and the entire 10-county Metro Atlanta Region.
Youth Aging out of Care, High School Seniors, and Career Transitioners are just a few examples of populations that will benefit from our clear career pathways that lead to economic stability and long-term growth.
